Sunday, September 8 is an opportunity to share love with our community in tangible ways.

We are a church that rolls up our sleeves and gets to work! On September 8 Calvary will be joining other Lutheran churches -- 4 million members, nearly 10,000 congregations, 65 synods and the church wide expression -- for a dedicated day of service.

You work every day to welcome your neighbors and make your community a better place. Now let's do it together as one body, using our hands to do God's work of restoring and reconciling communities in Jesus Christ’s name throughout the world.

We will gather together and go out to serve our community through a variety of service projects! This is open to EVERYONE-- families with young children, families with older children, singles, married couples, empty nesters, grandparents, everyone!

We are working to provide meaningful service opportunities for the entire Calvary family. We are visioning the day to begin with worship at the 9:30 service followed by brunch and meeting our work teams. After brunch teams will be sent out into the community to serve! Children will serve with their parents! This is a large undertaking so the sooner we know if you are interested, the easier it will be to plan, so please sign up now!
