First Communion Class and Blessing October 26 and 27
Children at Calvary are able to attend First Communion at
which ever age their parents feel they are ready. We
offer a class for children prior to First Communion and
then they learn about it again in 2nd & 7th grade Sunday
School.

ALL SAINTS - SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 3
In our worship services on All Saints Sunday, November 3rd, we will remember with votive candles on the altar those saints who have influenced our Christian life, who have passed away during the past year (since last Nov. 1st). To remember a loved one, beginning in mid-October you can sign up by the ministry display signs in the narthex, by the Family Life Center or fill out the form online at bit.ly/AllSaintsRemembrances. Last day to sign up will be Wed., Oct. 30. |

Columbarium Update
The niches have arrived. We will be meeting with the cabinet maker soon to create the exterior. If you are interested, please contact Rick Miller, Michelle Kitche, Mike Kammerdiener, Dale Schultz, Rosemary Haywood, or Mary Reichenbach.We are accepting payment for individuals interested in securing a columbarium niche. Forms may be found in the columbarium area. |

Noisy Offering - October 13
We now stand at 87% of the goal of our first well. With a little push we might make our goal in October.
On October 13th we will host another Noisy Offering support the ELCA Good Gifts Program Simple Water Well. During worship on that day, you can give with “noisy” coins, “hush” money (bills), or through text giving. Text as little as $3.00 to 817-760-2980 and add “Noisy” to your amount (example: $10 Noisy).

Sandwich Making Anyone?
Come help make sandwiches!
Have fun and fellowship serving the needy. Join the crew in Calvary’s kitchen on the 21st of each month to help make sandwiches for the homeless at the Presbyterian Night Shelter. The assembly line begins at 12:00p.m.

Calvary Yoga resumes Tuesday, September 3rd at 10am in Calvary’s Family Life Center. An hour of breathing and movement that is appropriate for all. Instructor is Ann Trimm.

CALLING FOR HELP AT PNS
We have been serving dinner at PNS twice per month for almost 5 years and praise God for all the volunteers who have served. PNS is at capacity each night and we are serving 600 homeless, many of whom are our friends from RITI. Subsequently, we need 5 volunteers each time to meet the demand at PNS.
