Prayer is an important part of our faith life. It can take many forms and yet always focuses us back to God. This year, as we journey through Lent together, we will explore the spiritual discipline of prayer.

Each week will center on a different way that Jesus used prayer. At each moment, God is pronouncing good news to the people and showing God’s heart by moving in the world.

We will encourage you to expand and enrich your experiences of prayer individually, as a family and in community with one another. Each week, we will actually have available a short devotion that can be used with your family, small group, or as an individual. It will be based on that Wednesday night’s theme. The sheets will be available outside the sanctuary and will have scripture, reflection, discussion questions, an activity, coloring sheets and prayers.
