NEED Website
N.E.E.D. has a web site,, that you need to check out. The site provides up-to-date information about N.E.E.D. The site was professionally done by IMMOTION Studios with funds from a Tool Box Grant that N.E.E.D. received. Check it out.

Here is another way to help N.E.E.D. Have you shopped at “Twice Blessed?” N.E.E.D. operates the Twice Blessed retail store at 424 Bedford Euless Road in Hurst. This retail outlet features a wide selection of pre-owned and pampered merchandise. Proceeds help fund N.E.E.D. operations.

Do you have clothing and other items that you would normally take to Goodwill? If so, you could bring it to the church and put in the N.E.E.D. container in the hallway across from the mailboxes. If you have furniture that you want to donate you can take it to Twice Blessed in Hurst.

The “N.E.E.D. grocery cart” at Calvary has sacks that you can pick up and bring back full of donated items. Specific requested items are listed below. And, as always, monetary donations are greatly appreciated (check payable to Calvary Lutheran Church and in the memo section write N.E.E.D.)—

  • Canned vegetables
  • Canned fruit
  • Spaghetti sauce
  • Spaghetti
  • Canned tuna
  • Sugar
  • Flour
