Make it a day on, NOT a day off! The second annual Tarrant Area Community of Churches MLK Day of Service brings together people of all colors and all religious beliefs to serve the larger community by volunteering their hearts, minds, and muscle to honor the unifying witness of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Join others who have a heart for their neighbor. Begins at Baker Chapel A.M.E. and Finishes at Broadway Baptist Church

CLEAN FOR QUARTERS

Churches are joining to provide laundry money for formerly homeless folks now in the City of Fort Worth Directions Home & Shelter Plus Care programs. In September, Tarrant Area Community of Churches won an award for this initiative collecting so far $1,831.50. To learn more go to www.tarrantareacc.org

The donations keep coming in! At this time, we have raised $14,348.65 to fight hunger locally and globally. Way to go!

This was our first year for participation. We had 6 people on our team. We raised $102.00 for this event. Thanks for participating. Let’s get teamed up and grow our group for next year. It is a fun event.
