The Outreach committee oversees the programs of our church that seek to welcome new people to our church and help us as a congregation connect to the larger communities we live and worship in.

We make an effort to contact every person that visits our church with a thank you note or a call as well as give them a welcome gift when they attend worship.

For the past 3 years we have done the Run for the Hills 5K in the fall to help support Upbring, the new Lutheran Social Services, and the City of Richland Hills Animal Shelter. It has been a successful outreach program for us because it allows us to invite our friends and neighbors to participate in a fun community activity. It has also strengthened our partnership with the City of Richland Hills. The city has generously donated the police escort for us each year and helped make the course safe for our participants. The run is scheduled for Saturday, November 11th this year and we look forward to seeing all the runners and walkers come out for this wonderful event – rain or shine. It is both stroller and pet friendly! We are also in need of volunteers so if you are interested in helping with this event, please contact me at

Stephen Ministers and Kyrie Pub Church at Chimera Brewing Company on Magnolia fall under our umbrella as well and we are excited to watch the growth of both of these ministries!
