Phil's Cream of Potato Soup 
                    1 stick unsalted butter 
          1 onion chopped 
          2 cloves garlic chopped 
          5 large Yukon Gold potatoes peeled and cut into ½ inch dice 
          2 cups chicken stock 
½ cup dry white wine 
          Splash of Worcestershire sauce 
          Salt & White Pepper 
          1 cup heavy whipping cream 
          creamed horse radish to taste 
          Cooked Bacon diced 
          Sharp Cheddar cheese shredded 
          Minced chives or scallions  
                    Melt butter in soup pot over medium heat 
        Add onion and sauté until soft 
        Add garlic and sauté additional minute or two 
        Add diced potatoes, stock and wine 
        Add Worcestershire and salt and pepper 
        Bring to a boil 
        Reduce to simmer and cook partially covered until potatoes are tender  
        Remove from heat and cool slightly 
        Working in batches puree in blender or food processor 
        Return to heat and add warmed cream 
        Stir in creamed horse radish a TSP. at a time. Be careful not to overpower the soup 
        Ladle into bowls and garnish with bacon, cheese and chives
