Just Like Grandma's German
Style Red Cabbage


Head of Red Cabbage shredded
1 small onion diced
2 apples peeled, cored and chopped
3 TBS Brown Sugar
4 TBS white vinegar
4 TBS water
Salt and pepper to taste


  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Sauté onion in olive oil until soft
  • Mix ingredients in covered casserole
  • Bake for three hours or until tender stirring occasionally
