Thanks to you all for your Noisy Offerings! Our commitment this year is to help fund ELCA World Hunger and Lutheran Disaster Response by way of ELCA Good Gifts! We will buy cows and chickens and pigs and goats and other farm animals, and who knows what else?! All in our continued efforts to help struggling economies in this world.

Yes, folks, Lutheran Disaster Response helps out in just such emergencies as what our neighbors to the south of us are experiencing. The flooding in Louisiana has affected families in three congregations in the Gulf Coast Synod and they are expressing an urgent need for help! And so we will! This month’s noisy offering will go to Lutheran Disaster Response designated specifically for Gulf Coast Flooding.

We will continue our second Sunday Noisy Offering on September 11th. Bring your pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters, and your hush money (bills!) if you prefer and make a joyful noise!
