Also known as A service for the Longest Night, this service acknowledges that Christmas can be a very lonely, depressing, “blue” time for those grieving the loss of loved ones or other losses. Through liturgy and song and shared meal we bring our pain and sorrow to the Christ child who is the light shining in the darkness and seek the consolation and healing of God’s presence.

The Children’s Choirs will sing and place the Italian porcelain nativity figures in the manger on CHRISTMAS EVE at the beginning of the 4:00 o'clock p.m. service.

All Christmas Eve Services will include singing of traditional Christmas carols, individual candles for each worshipper, Holy Communion, and candlelight singing of “Silent Night.” 15 minutes prior to the each service we will sing several carols that are not included in the service itself. Come early if you want to enjoy caroling.

First Sunday of Christmas
ONE morning service will be held on Sunday, December 26th at 10 am in the sanctuary and livestreamed on Calvary’s YouTube page to celebrate the First Sunday of Christmas.
Second Sunday of Christmas
ONE morning service will be held on Sunday, January 2nd at 10 am in the sanctuary and livestreamed on Calvary’s YouTube page to celebrate the Second Sunday of Christmas.
